On Another Note....

I am now almost 2 and 3/4 days through with not smoking.. It isnt the physical craving that I have so much to deal with.. but the psychological cravings are overwhelming at times.. I know I can be slightly obessive compulsive in some things.. and this is sure one of them.. but.. I am doing what I can to stay busy.. cleaning the house helps.. cause.. ya know.. it is starting to smell like a funked out ashtray to me.. Blondie hasnt tried to quit yet.. that was the plan.. to quit together.. ehhh.. so much for that huh?

I know all I have to do is 12 step this thing away.. that Chantix pill is really a major breakthrough.. non nicotine replacement.. I just wonder what happens when you stop with the pills.. hmmmm... I'll ponder about that..

My friend Nonette let me borrow her table saw for some of the wood I need to rip.. I am really getting into this wood stuff.. Who knows.. before long.. I may be showing pics of my new kitchen cabinets.. They can't be THAT hard can they?

I don't know what else to tell ya'll.. Life.. has sure tossed me some curveballs that last couple months.. and I havent hit one outta the park yet.. So.. that means ya know.. MY TIME IS COMING!!!!!!

Dang, Bam, you pick the most stressful of times to quick smoking?

You know, I had a friend once who "cleaned" her car while she was trying to quit smoking.

I will say that cleaning house is probably a better idea.

The interior of her car had death rattles when she got done with it. Lots of "parts" leftover after she reassembled it.

Anyway, good luck with the smoking cessation. I know it's got to be tough.

I know this is going to sound silly, but Fran and I swear by white tic-tacs to help when you quit smoking. That's what both of us used almost non-stop, and it worked.

Yea for you, honey.

After seeing SD's cousin and what lung cancer has done to him (he was never a smoker BTW...just a random thing) I'm so happy to hear this. I usually keep my mouth shut about my friends smoking but watching what it does to a real person and not some muslin lungs on TV has made me want to hug the stuffin's out of all you and tell you to knock it of with the cigs.

;) (seriously though...I'm so excited for you...sunflower seeds...gum...whatever...)
