OK.. so I was at work today.. and got a call from Blondie.. she has had a really BAD week.. her oldest daughter got sent off to state jail.. the same day.. she went to work.. and found out her boss had died from a massive heart attack.. that was Monday.. yeah.. Mondays suck.. then today.. she calls and I could hear fear in her voice.. she said.. Im hurt.. theres blood everywhere.. so.. PANIC!!!.. I ran out of work.. tellin my boss. gotta go.. blood is involved.. home... clock me out please.. and rush hour be damned.. yeah Bammy drove a "little" crazy to get here..damn near missed my own street too..lol.. the ambulance driver said.. hmm.. related to mario andretti? Apparently I was a little sideways turnin the corner...
Anyway.... Blondie somehow got her foot.. caught in her other pant leg.. and tripped.. landed with her foot under itself.. and split it open... there might be some tendon damage.. she has to see a specialist in the morning... She thought she had cut it on something.. but there is nothing around where it happened that would have sliced it.. :::shudder::: I was gonna post a picture of it after they sewed it up.. but.. I didnt wanna be the cause of wooziness on yalls part.. umm.. or maybe mine.. I am weak I tell ya...
I am NO GOOD.. when it comes to blood.. and lots of it.. but it got all cleaned up.. who needs those extra pillowcases anyway..
Oh.. and the funny part.. yeah.. theres always funny involved if ya look for it.. the ambulance guys left their big ole backpack here...on the recliner... I was like.. hmmm.. i bet they have some good stuff in there...but aw hell.. they had all the good zippers all zip tied.. so I didnt open them.. All I could think to do was call 911 back and say.. OK.. I know this really isnt an emergency.. but umm.. what do yall want me to do with this backpack full of probably really good shit?
I took it to the hospital with me.. they were happy to see their missing bag of probably really GOOD shit.. So.. everyone is home now.. Blondie is in bed.. hopefully the pain meds kick in before the numness wears off.. I can see this hurting ALOT!
Im tired.. Bedtime for Bammy...
