Well We skipped out on any storms over the weekend.. but oh my.. galveston.. a perennial favorite of mine.. is just about gone.. just watching the news brought tears to my eyes.. I have been in touch with all the people I know in Houston.. except for my brothers.. bastages don't think to call...The one bro that lives in a tent.. last Dad heard.. a cop told him to go down the street and try and ride it out in a car wash.. so much for the offers of shelters... assholes..
FEMA is still lagging behind in the ice and water department.. no surprise there... Michael Cherkoff is quoted as saying.. "Houston didn't tell anyone that the had to set up distribution points." OH MY GOD!!! They have no power.. no gas.. no communication... Did he think people were gonna be able to fucking WALK there? Seriously!!! (Breathe....breathe....) Seeing the news.. I am thinking bro that lives in La Porte.. doesn't have much of a house left.. which he just finished remodeling...
OK.. in other news.. we got about 2 sprinkly showers out of it.. no wind or anything like that... yards moved.. Blondie's car got new brakes this afternoon.. I am so productive since I don't work weekends anymore...
